Il avait 24 ans et il \u00e9tait l\u00e9preux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"284\" src=\"https:\/\/troupedelamisericorde.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/baudouin-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-58\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette chevaleresque figure de notre beau Moyen-\u00c2ge est h\u00e9las bien oubli\u00e9e aujourd\u2019hui en France, comme l\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui d\u2019ailleurs son royaume : le royaume franc de Terre Sainte fruit pr\u00e9cieux et fragile des Croisades que ses successeurs ne surent conserver. Humblement, insensiblement, abandonnant son corps d\u00e9chu en la J\u00e9rusalem terrestre \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense de laquelle il s\u2019\u00e9tait consacr\u00e9 tout entier, il s\u2019en fut rejoindre la demeure promise par l\u2019\u00c9criture, \u00e0 laquelle il aspirait de tout son \u00eatre, la J\u00e9rusalem c\u00e9leste, pour y conna\u00eetre enfin la b\u00e9atitude dans un corps de gloire. \u00ab Christ de douleur couronn\u00e9e d\u2019or et d\u2019\u00e9pines \u00bb, lui, le faible, le malade, l\u2019infirme, est sorti vainqueur de trois ennemis qui l\u2019assaillirent sans rel\u00e2che durant son r\u00e8gne : le Sultan Saladin le plus puissant, le plus r\u00e9solu des ennemis que la Terre Sainte ait connus, les intrigues et les trahisons des chevaliers francs et de la
